Leana is a young female Whippet, estimated to be about She was transported to the animal emergency hospital by an anonymous good samaritan. Since she was considered a stray, Tina had to spend a week at Multnomah County Animal Control Hospital on a pain patch before Whippet Rescue and Placement obtained custody. When MCAC acquired Tina, she had a broken pelvis and fractured pubic & ishium bone. Dr. Rene Laborde wired her little pelvis back together for Whippet Rescue. Thank you, Dr. Laborde ! Dr.

Thanks to all the "well-wishers" and prospective adoption folks, who wrote and called. She is a very lucky girl to have so many friends across the country & Hawaii. Tina was adopted by the Tang Family of Washington State in March 2005.
